It doesn't seem to work that well if you have a protective case on your iPhone.
We've created something similar. It's good for the environment, hand crafted AND "Made in the USA". It's called a MobiStand. It works for iPods, iPhones, Droid Phones and most other SmartPhones. Oh, did I mention that you can leave your iPhone in the case?!?!
