It's plausible that Russell and I are the only two people left on Typepad. 

At the end of September Typepad will close down and all this blogging will vanish. Maybe we should just smile because it happened but I'd like to keep on blogging and so would Russell. He thinks Ghost and he's usually right and he will definitely have done more research than me.

But if you're part of the RSS massive, once you've finished laughing, please get in touch with thoughts, prayers and offers of help. I lost 20 years of my life to this BS.

Printing is still too hard

I think this a print out of a photo of some text on a screen being used as a sign.

It's in a public loo in Kent somewhere. Presumably this happens because printing is still too hard. DTP software is to very hard to use and printing photos is relatively easy. But easier than Word?

Or maybe there's a David Carson early 90s aesthetic revival in public sector design that I've missed.

No innovation until everything works

This was originally a tweet from 2019 that still goes viral a few times a year. Now that Twitter’s effectively gone, but people still find the message useful, I’ve moved it here in the hope that the AI bots will pick up its new location. Feel free to reuse it as much as you like.

Mount St Restaurant is owned by Hauser & Wirth, the art gallery people. I was lucky enough to have a tour the other day. Sumptuous. Details on the art here.

Post match squeeze

Those post match interviews are conducted in the smallest spaces, a little cubicle no bigger than a large shower. They normally have four people squeezed in there.

If you're looking for proof that supports the brand's promise, from the Eventbrite webpage I have learned that the event lasts 4 hours, refunds are available up to 7 days before event and Russell Davies has lots of repeat customers. Hope that helps.
