The other day I was trawling through the archives of The Staufenberger Repository when I stumbled upon this post from July 2008.
"Sitting in Kipferl the other afternoon, we were chuffed to see a Google Street View car come past. Only for it to be pulled over by the City of London police. After a brief conversation through the window, the driver got out, turned off the camera and waited while the copper took a long time to make some enquiries.
Hope that didn't scupper our chances of being immortalised online."
So, obviously, I hopped on over to Google Streetview to see if I could find the Staufenbergers or the copper. And look what I found.
There's Kipferi. Is that Patrick sat in the window in the pink shirt?
Spin round a bit AND LOOK the copper is about to pounce!
I bet there are loads of these snapshots of history caught on Streetview.
Great story! I myself was imortalised when the street view car drove past me! Great photo blogspace!

Yes, that's me. Well spotted. Although the shirt was red/white gingham. Just saying.

This is trivial and irrelevant, but how on earth do you work with that red desktop pulsating behind everything? I'd be in the nuthouse after a day or two.

It's important to take responsibilities, because no one else is going to do it for you.
