Yeah, but what really gets on my tits are those multi-storey car parks (and it seems most of them) where the lifts use a completely different methodology for labelling the floor that you're on. So you have to remember, for instance, that you're parked on level 3, but you have to take the lift to Floor G.

It's no wonder people lose their cars when they're faced with that sort of stupidity.

(Or does that make me sound extremely grumpy and like I'm about 104?)

Maybe the 8 is by the crazy 88s?

It's so wrong it's right!

Love the eight. Is the number in the centre of the space? If so, how would you read it once you parked (and there are cars to either side)?
I almost invariably park on the top floor, so I always know where I am. I hate searching for spaces.

John

Please tell me it has six levels and that there is a parking space of the beast.

Ben

Steve, it's at the bit of the space that's near the road; ie if you drove straight into the space the number would be visible at the back of the car.

John. I think there are five levels.

the next stage is developing some kind of system for where the hell you left your bike when you go to the markets.

you know it's weird that they did the 8 like that, considering how they've done the 3s (which is kind of half an 8, really).
