Hello,
I am contacting you regarding the new site that the Nouveau Jour agency is launching directed at bloggers.
The site is called Buzzbox and offers to send you little surprises specially and carefully prepared that will let you exclusively learn about offbeat marketing campaigns and new products. After that, it is up to you whether or not to relay the campaign; what’s important is that it entertains you as much as us.
All our clients, like MySpace, Foot Locker, Diesel, Calvin Klein and Disney, are already excited about this project. In short, the only thing missing is you!
So sign up now by clicking on the following link:

Happy buzzing,
Etc, etc
Sounds vile. Be sure to update (or delete) your ethical policy if you do.

And all you get is a free pair of boxer shorts (made using child labour, one imagines).

Of course, once you start receiving those "little surprises" you'll feel guilty if you never write about them. This is a normal psychological mechanism. So you'll end up promoting their stuff, and the agency will get lots of quality coverage for free. You'll get some boxer shorts and lose some credibility.

"Buzzbox lets you exclusively learn about their campaigns or their new products. You have just to discover the brand behind it."
Don't give in to the dark side.

What have you got to lose?
You are in full control of your mind aren't you,so no danger of them taking it over eh?

How else are you going to get your hands on a limited edition T shirt?

I've never once worn a free pair of boxer shorts. There's something comforting about the fact that my underwear cost something.
I can see it now, hundreds of blog posts all giving away unwanted boxer shorts in an attempt at generating some buzz.

I havnt worn Boxer Shorts since it was the fashion for girls to wear them to the Roller Disco in the 80's. Is it me or is this a bit Male Orientated? (not that I want advertising Thongs BTW).

Surely if the marketing was working you wouldn't have to be on their grubby little list to see it?!

...then again, I would love to be on a grubby little list to get little surprises like this;

is it wrong I find this so covetable? And I don't even like Keira Knightly. I guess that means it's worked.

You've already decided, ben. And it's the right decision.
